Hi!  I'm Stuart; the new kid on the block, having only pushed my way into The Harbour Lights in January 2007.  I live in Loughborough with my wife Viv, and our two children, Rebecca and Matthew. I'm a bit of a strange mix (in more ways than one!) having worked in science and medicine for the past 18+.

Although I play drums, I tend to leave that to those that can do it properly (such as Chris) and focus these days on playing as many weird, wonderful and often previously unseen instruments as I can.  From clay pots to Peruvian goats hoof shakers, Tibetan gongs to Philippine bamboo rattles, egg shakers to tambourines (okay, so I play some normal stuff as well).  I also play didgeridoo much to the amusement of many.

I have found playing in The Harbour Lights a real breath of fresh air as all the other members have an innate ability to leave space for the others (very rare these days).

If you come to see us play anytime, please stop by to say hello ... I'm usually the one with his head still in cases and gear when the rest are at the bar!!

Sweet or savoury?  Savoury

Have you ever burnt your hair?  A friend at school once set fire to a beard I was trying to grow in an attempt to shock me out of a nose bleed. Didn't stop the nose bleed but got rid of my beard (don't try that one at home)

Do you eat leftovers?  Depends who has left them over.

Roughing it or luxury hotel?  Both are fine.

Is your hair its original colour?  No. It was once black.

Mayonnaise or salad cream?  Mayo

Say your opinion or keep it to yourself?  Will do either depending on situation

How long does it take you to get ready after you get out of bed?  Get out of bed??

Complete this sentence, I will never say ... "That's impossible"

Righty or leftie?  Slightly off-centre.
